Improved flexibility with the GC-1F gen-set controller from DEIF DEIFs flat gen-set controller, the GC-1F, has been harvesting great success throughout the world since its official release in February 2007. Now, to your benefit, the controller has been updated to offer added versatility. Support of external inputs and outputs Now supporting 16 digital inputs and outputs and an additional 8 analogue inputs, the GC-1F facilitates handling of more advanced applications than previously. The inputs and outputs can typically be used if many alarm inputs are needed, e.g. enclosure open, oil leakage, exhaust temp, door sensor, admission restriction, fuel pressure supervision, etc. But the choice is yours – they are not fixed in any way Engine communication The number of supported engine makes has been substantially increased to cover all commonly used engines. The GC-1F can be configured to show more than 30 different values in the display. This is a great advantage compared to previously where the possible values were predefined for each engine type. Languages supported The GC-1F can hold three extra languages in addition to the English master language And you are free to edit your alarm text for binary and analog inputs as you like. Currently, you can choose between any of the following factory-set languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and Chinese. If any other languages are needed, you are free to create them on you own. Configurable views Users of the GC-1F will also notice that they can freely choose displaying any measurements. In total, 77 different lines and maximum 15 views with either big fonts or small fonts. Big fonts for enhanced long distance readings and small fonts to provide a good overview of many values at the same time. Finally, the GC-1F has been fitted with eight command timers that can be used for e.g. automatic gen-set test once a week (a practical thing when using your controller in a remote location), automatic stop of the gen-set at the construction site (in case someone forgets to turn off power), automatic load take over from the mains in peak hours or something completely different. The GC-1F can be supplied with a number of different options. As a consequence, the same hardware is suitable for a variety of different applications. That means costs saved on training and maintenance. DEIF's PC utility software, well-proven in its range of multi-function controllers, ensures easy set-up and commissioning. In short, the updated GC-1F sets a new standard when it comes to flexibility for you. The choice is yours! |
